Today, the Abwenzi A Ana team embarked on a comprehensive field visit to gain in-depth insights into the ongoing initiatives of our partner organizations: Rays of Hope, Future4All, and YODEP in Ntcheu This visit serves as a crucial preparatory step for the upcoming Abwenzi A Ana quarterly review meeting, which will be held in Liwonde
During the visit, the team engaged with a diverse array of key stakeholders who are instrumental in the successful implementation of various community-based interventions These stakeholders included:
- Community Child Protection Committee: Focused on safeguarding the rights and well-being of children within the community
- Core Group: A collaborative body working on multiple community project
- YCBDA: Youth and Community-Based Development Association involved in youth empowerment and development programs
- Climate Smart Agriculture- Lead Farmer: Promoting sustainable agricultural practices to enhance food security and resilience against climate change
- School Disaster Risk Management Club: Educating and preparing students to handle and mitigate disaster risks
- Girls Solidarity Club: Empowering young girls through education and awareness on protection issues
